Another argument is that when pupils can wear their own clothes to school they feel more comfortable and therefore more ready to work. They also say that wearing their own clothes to school makes students feel they retain their individuality. However, I disagree with most of these statements. I feel that School Uniforms instill a sense of discipline within children that they need in order to get the most out of their education. Discipline is extremely important to children and, although they often rebel against it, I feel that ultimately they like rules and regulations to be in place because they know where they stand in their daily life. Wearing a uniform also upholds the values of the school and gives it a profile throughout the whole community.
